What a Hotel Call is for
Sick visits: ear, sinus, and throat infections, urinary tract infections, rashes, stomach bugs, travel illness, minor injuries assessed, and the prescription you left at home. Prescriptions are sent to the nearest pharmacy, here or at home. Most sick visits can be handled by video.
Two formats: a thirty minute video visit from your room, or an in-room visit with Dr. King when a physical exam or in person care is the better fit.
Precision consults: hormones, sleep, energy, weight, and what your labs mean, with only the tests worth ordering. A written plan is included, and advanced functional precision testing can be arranged while you are here and read with you by video after you go home.

If what you need can be handled by video or phone, Dr. King says so when you call and the visit is $250. In your room it is up to forty-five minutes in person: physical exam, prescriptions, and a written plan, at resorts and vacation rentals from the Kohala Coast to Kona. By video or phone it is thirty minutes from your room, with prescriptions sent to the nearest pharmacy, here or at home, and a written plan the same day. Same day when available.

Labs during your stay
$795
Order early: the kit arrives at your hotel in about two days. Take it, fasting, to Clinical Labs of Hawaii in Waikoloa Village or Waimea; your concierge arranges the car. Dr. King reads the results with you by video in about two weeks, wherever you are. An in-room phlebotomist may be available for an additional fee. $795. No time for labs here? No problem: Dr. King can order labs in your home state if you live in Hawaiʻi, Washington, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, Louisiana, Nevada, Wisconsin, or Montana.

Four layers, measured properly
Some things about your body never change. Your genome is one of them. It is read once and it becomes the map: how you handle fuel, stress, sleep, recovery, and the specific things you need more of.
Other things change constantly, and those are worth measuring twice. Your blood chemistry. Your microbiome, which shifts faster than anything else we can measure. The rate at which your body is actually aging.
Most medicine measures the second group once, calls it normal, and sends you home. Dr. King reads all four together, at the start and again later, so you can see what moved.

This is not an emergency service. For chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, trouble breathing, or any emergency, call 911. Anyone who needs imaging, IV fluids, or stitches belongs at urgent care or the emergency department, and Dr. King will say so. During the day there is a walk-in clinic on the coast, Kohala Coast Urgent Care at The Westin Hapuna. Controlled substances are not prescribed on a Hotel Call.
